Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born in Dallas,
Texas, to Gayle (Gaston), a national director at Mary Kay, and Freddie Wright,
a pharmaceutical executive. She was born and raised in San Diego. Her
professional career began as a model at age 14, and was a model in Paris and
Japan. After finishing high school she made the decision to become an actor.
She was part of the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), in which she was nominated
three more times for Daytime Emmys. Dane Witherspoon was her fellow cast
participant, and she got married to Dane in 1986. In 1987, she played the role
of the title character in The Princess Bride. She was given the role of Santa
Barbara but left to play the role in Denial (1990) alongside Jason Patric. She
met Sean Penn in 1990 while she was appearing in State of Grace (1990). They
had one daughter Dylan Frances with him and an infant son called Hopper Jack.
Robin was back in Hollywood with Tara, one of the most significant roles of her
career, after taking a break. She was a stunning actor and an amazing actor.
Then, she acted in Toys (1992) in Toys (1992) alongside Robin Williams, and she
gave a funny performance. In 1994, Wright was in the blockbuster success
Forrest Gump (1994), along with Tom Hanks. She was nominated for a Golden Globe
Award for her role as Jenny. She was given a small part in The Crossing Guard
(1995) with Jack Nicholson. After she turned down 14 roles she was offered the
title role in MGM/UA’s Moll Flanders (1996). The movie was directed by Pen
Densham and featured Morgan Freeman, Stockard Channing, and Morgan Freeman.
Then, she appeared alongside William Hurt in Erin Dignam’s Loved (1997).
