Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She was the Teletoon child's show Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010, she appeared as Becky Richards in the Teletoon Children's Comedy series Majority Rules! Between 2009 and 2010, she appeared as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution from 2009-2010. It was a post-apocalyptic science- show. She was nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson played Annika on the A&E television series Bates Motel. Since 2017 Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. Spiridakos is the character the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. Her family relocated to Skala in Greece situated south of Sparta, shortly after her birth. In 1992 they returned to Canada. She feels strongly that she is a part of her Greek family, and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting at the age of junior high school. She also trained at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved from Winnipeg to pursue acting in 2007 to pursue acting. She found her first TV appearance on Supernatural within weeks. She continued to appear on television, with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos appeared in the TV movie Goblin and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009, she was cast in her first role in a starring part as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl, on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! In 2011, she made her debut in feature films in the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller written by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags the movie, the first Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos was later offered the lead role in Revolution which she played as Charlotte Matheson (survivor in an unimaginative future society), on NBC television. The audition took place while she was at her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced her pilot in Atlanta. The first season was filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. For her performance in the pilot she was nominated for win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She was defeated by Anna Torv from Fringe's The Good Place. Production moved to Austin, Texas for the second season.
