Elizabeth Leigh Vassey
Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9th 1973, died in 1972) is an American actress. Her credits include Emily Ann Sago in the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 television show The Tick, Wendy Simms in the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Nikki Beaumont in the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenage Emily Ann Sago in All My Children between 1988 and 1991. From 2004 until 2005, she played an recurring role in the series Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She was featured in several episodes on the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Vassey played Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's regular character between 2005 and 2010. Vassey was elevated from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms role in the tenth season , and began appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1 the 1st of June, 2010 that Vassey did not return for the 11th season of the show. She guested in one episode during that season.Vassey was a guest on Joss Whedon's musical on the web, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, as "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, she and her co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to create a T(ee) which designs and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are humorous and poke fun at female anxieties and neuroses, often relating to relationships.
