Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. In 1995,
she made her feature film debut in the independent drama Kids. Her roles in the
following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002).
Dawson has also done voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics
as well as ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her performance in Rent, Dawson won
the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress for a Motion Picture; for her
role in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for
Best actor in a Comedy. Dawson was born in New York City on May 9 1979. Isabel
Celeste, her mother, is Afro-Cuban. Rosario was 16 when Isabel was born. Her
mother, Isabel Celeste, never married Patrick C. Harris. Rosario's mother, Greg
Dawson, was employed as a construction worker when she was just one year old.
Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson
is also well-known for playing a variety of roles in comic-book
adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill
For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the shows from Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018)
and providing the voices of Diana Prince/Wonder Women in the DC Animated Movie
Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego
Batman Movie. In 2020, she was the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the second season of
The Mandalorian, and is set to star in the coming Disney+ original series
Ahsoka. In 2021, she'll return to her role as Young Rock, a Dwayne Johnson
autobiographical comedy.
