Michelle Lynn Monaghan (born March 23 in 1976) is an American actress. Her leading roles include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Gone Baby Gone (2008). She also appeared in for Gone Baby Gone (2008), Made of Honor (2008) and Trucker (2008). Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015) and Patriots Day (2016). Her starring role in Mission: Impossible III (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011) and Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) has earned her respect. Monaghan was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. She was also a character on Sarah Lane on the drama series The Path (2016-18). Monaghan played the role of Eva Geller on the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah. The show was pulled after just one season. Monaghan was born in the town of 750 people (then there was a population of around 750) of Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Sharon Hammel, and Robert Monaghan who worked as a factory worker. Bob as well as John are her elder brothers. Monaghan is a Catholic of Irish and German descent . She graduated from East Buchanan High School, 1994. She moved to Chicago following graduation to pursue a degree in journalism at Columbia College Chicago. Then she began modeling. She has also modelled in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore as well as in the United States. She quit New York for an acting career after she completed her journalism degree in 1999. She became a model and was featured in various catalogs and magazines prior to making her acting debut. Monaghan's first TV appearances, both in a supporting role in the role of Caroline Busse in episodes of Young Americans, which aired in 2000. She also performed in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in "Consent" The episode that aired on the 19th of January 2001. She made her big-screen debut the same year with Perfume, playing the part of Henrietta. She also acted as a acting support in Unfaithful in 2002. The film starred Richard Gere, Diane Lane and many others.
